Dress for the Woman You Became
Silver hair, red lipstick, zero permission slips. Style that flatters a real body and a real life.
Style advice for women over fifty tends to arrive in the form of a fence: a list of things you're not supposed to wear anymore. No long hair. No bold color. Nothing too short, too bright, too anything. We'd like to knock the fence down.
Here is the only rule that matters: wear what makes you feel like the most alive version of yourself. If that's a leather jacket, wear the leather jacket. If it's a caftan the color of a sunset, wear that. Your body has carried you through an entire life — it has earned clothes that celebrate it, not clothes that apologize for it.
Elegance isn't about hiding. It's about choosing — on purpose, for yourself.
Invest in fit over trend. Buy fewer, better things. Find the two or three colors that make you look lit from within and lean into them. And the red lipstick? It was never too much. It was always exactly enough.
